Sometimes what we post online can have results we didn't expect. One weekend, 20-year-old James posted onhis Facebook page that his job was “ so boring". When he got to work on Monday his boss fired him, and gave hima letter. It said : “ After reading your comments on Facebook about our company, we understand you are not happywith your work. We think it is better for you to look for something that you will find more interesting."
Fifteen-year-old Cathy posted an invitation to her birthday party online. She posted her address, too. Whenher parents got back that evening, they couldn't believe their eyes. There were 500 people at the party, and theymade a mess(混乱) of the house.

Here are some important tips that will help you to be safer online.
*Share with care! Think before you post something. You can never completely control who sees your texts, pictures, or videos.

*Protect and respect! Don't share your passwords, home or email address with anyone. Don't pass false information about others.
